Rudolf Steiner created a religion that encompassed all religions and valued the contributions of all living things. You haven’t heard of him? That’s fine, most people haven’t.
German philosopher Steiner created the Anthroposophical Society, which broke from the German section of the Theosophical Society. Succinctly, Steiner called anthroposophy a spiritual science, or a religion in which man can come to know God and the universe because knowledge of these concepts is inside himself. For those who want to study Steiner further, one can read his Fundamentals of Therapy: An Extension of the Art of Healing through Spiritual Knowledge, published in 1925, or his autobiography, The Story of my Life, published in 1924. Regardless of your beliefs, Steiner is a fascinating thinker.
